Archery
The units we typically hunt are primitive weapon use areas only which haven’t been rifle hunted for a good many years. Archery hunts begin generally around the 1st of September and run to the third week of September. A typical archery hunt will consists of calling and located bulls, spot and stalk, blinds set up on waterholes and wallows and plenty of glassing.
Muzzle Loader
Our Muzzleloader hunts take place in the same units that we do many of our Archery hunts. Muzzleloader season typically begins at the end of the first week of October.
Rifle
Rifle hunts take place in different units of the Gila National forest. Rifle hunts typically start at the end of the first week of October. The potential to take a world class bull on these hunts is high. These hunts are more difficult to draw than any other hunt that we offer in New Mexico. Landowner permits are very limited in these units.
