O902 - British Columbia Free Range Bison Hunt Details:
Our Area is one of only two areas in North America with Free Ranging Plains Bison eligible for Boone & Crocket and Pope & Young record book, it sustains the largest herd with over 3500 head in 2000 square miles of mountain country and is increasing every year.
Mature bulls can score between 100" and 120" and can weigh over 2000 lbs. This hunt is very rewarding for archery and rifle hunters. Snowmobiles, quads and horses are used to cover the countryside and pack your trophy back to camp. In 2006 we had 100% success rate, in 2007 we had 100% opportunity and 90% success rate (one being taken on a archery hunt with long bow scoring second biggest over all in the P&Y) and in 2008 we had 100% success rate on harvesting these majestic animals.
If you are looking for a hunt that is very relaxing, enjoyable, and successful and have never had the opportunity to hunt Bison, then you need to try this hunt.
